Ontdek Upper Shadymoor Farm in Shropshire, Shrewsbury. Je logeert bij Joy en Kevin Fox en hun familie. De natuur steelt hier de show. Boshyacinten en wilde knoflook bloeien naast alle Kerry Hill-boerderijdieren. Schapen, paarden, geiten, varkens, kippen en de boerderijhonden kan je hier allemaal vinden. Je Tenthuisje staat aan de bosrand, hier ben je echt even helemaal weg van het stadsleven.

Ontdek Shropshire

Wandel over de Shropshire Hills of langs het water. Bezoek de middeleeuwse steden Shrewsbury en Ludlow. Shrewbury heeft meer dan 600 beschermde gebouwen en Ludlow is een culinaire hoofdstad die beroemd is om zijn kasteel- en theaterfestivals. Voor natuurliefhebbers zijn er tal van wandelingen rond de Shropshire Hills.

Dit doe je op de boerderij

Hier worden meer activiteiten aangeboden dan op welke andere BoerenBed boerderij dan ook. De lijst is eindeloos, ga bijvoorbeeld pony’s borstelen, forelvissen of op een zonsondergang avontuur. Een echte waterrat? Er is een hottub, water trampoline, ga roeien of wildwaterzwemmen. Vergeet niet langs te gaan bij het boerderijwinkeltje. Haal vers brood, lokale producten om mee te koken op je houtkachel of maak het jezelf makkelijk en bestel een zelfgemaakte maaltijd. Geniet van je avondmaaltijd in de zuivere buitenlucht. Aan het eind van de dag kruip je in je comfy bed voor een goede nachtrust.

My sister and I went for a mid week break at Upper Shadymoor farm with our 5 year old sons ahead of school starting and had a truely lovely time. Our hosts Kevan and Joy were great throughout our stay offering the options for fresh croissants and bread for breakfast delivered to your tent, walks around the farm (which was beautiful with so many different parts) and great safety talks making sure the kids were involved and understood. We opted for the water package on our last day which included hot tub and use of the lake which was just fabulous and a truely stunning setting. The kids enjoyed the freedom to explore the camp site and adored the whole experience. Facilities in the tent are great and the boys loved the cupboard bed. An amazing experience and memories to last a lifetime.

We had a fantastic experience with Joy and Kevan. The site is wonderful, with lots of spaces to explore. The experiences available are fantastic - we went on the water with kayaks and paddleboards and it is unforgettable. The game-based BBQ pack was delicious. Thanks so much.

We go to featherdown for the quiet, for getting back to nature and for the wonderful water sports activities at Upper Shadymoor. We are more internet-needy than we thought though! Especially as this week was GCSE results week and I'm a teacher. We would prefer two bins to be able to separate recycling in the tent, and larger bin bags.

We had a fantastic stay at upper shadymoor farm. We switched off from our usual crazy pace and enjoyed the beauty and rhythms of of nature. Our son loved the animals, the swings and the woods. The water package was great fun, the warm bread and pastries a treat. Big thank you Kevan and Joy for the warm welcome and happy memories.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Kevan, Joy and their family were so welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful long weekend, the children (7 and 4) had the freedom to run around safely, learn about the animals and paddle in the stream. The water package was amazing and all the better for being at a booked time, so that we had special time just with our family. We would highly recommend!
